In a Mexican state called Zacatecas near the tropic of cancer, there is a place called “La Quemada”. La Quemada was an old town that was going to be the now Mexico City. The people believed that, becuase they saw the sign of the serpent eatting a snake, that this place was going to be the great city of Mexico. Long story short, the place burnt down and thats why they call it La Quemada. The people moved on to find another sign to build the great city of Mexico. Turns out, the next place after that was the place after all.

This picture is of a tree branch at La Quemada. Out of breath because of the elevation, I snapped it while having a small stroke.
